At Belhasa Advanced Motorist, safety starts with
clarity. This page answers common questions about
advanced driving and safety training. If you need
more help, our team is ready.
What is Belhasa Advanced Motorist (BAM)?
BAM is the advanced training division of Belhasa Driving Center, offering certified programs in defensive driving, desert driving, chauffeur and emergency vehicle training, and corporate driver assessments. We specialize in preparing drivers to handle real-world road challenges with precision, control, and confidence.
Are BAM courses approved or certified?
Yes. Many of our programs are certified by international bodies such as the National Safety Council (USA) and DIAmond Advanced Motorist (UK). These certifications are widely recognized across industries and reflect our commitment to professional, high-standard driver development.
Who can enroll in BAM courses?
Our courses are open to:
- Licensed individual drivers (expats, residents, professionals)
- Corporate and fleet drivers
- Government and private sector clients
- Heavy vehicle and off-road drivers
How long are the courses?
Course durations vary based on the type:
- Most refresher and defensive driving courses are 1–2 days
- Some programs (like UAE Familiarization) are 4–6 hours
- Advanced and off-road training may span multiple sessions
Are your instructors qualified?
Absolutely. All BAM instructors are trained professionals with extensive experience in advanced driving, vehicle handling, and international safety standards.
Do you offer desert and off-road driving courses?
Yes. BAM provides both basic and advanced desert driving programs, as well as mountain terrain driving — all designed for real UAE conditions.
What is the difference between a defensive driving driving course?
Defensive driving focuses on hazard anticipation and accident prevention in daily traffic. Advanced driving builds on that foundation, training for high-performance control, precision, and complex driving environments.
Do you offer training for companies or fleets?
Yes. BAM provides customized corporate driver assessments, fleet safety programs, and risk evaluation services for organizations across the UAE.
Can you conduct driver risk assessments for hiring purposes?
Yes. Our Potential Employment Driver Assessment is specifically designed for evaluating candidates’ driving competence before recruitment.
How can I register for a course?
You can register by calling us, sending an email, or visiting our training center directly. Our team will guide you through the available schedules and requirements.
What documents do I need to enroll?
You’ll need a valid UAE driving license (or equivalent), Emirates ID, and passport-sized photo. Some courses may require additional documentation.
Do I need prior driving experience to take a BAM course?
Most BAM courses require a valid UAE driving license. For advanced and off-road programs, prior driving experience is recommended to get the most out of the training.
Will I receive a certificate after completing a course?
Yes. Upon successful completion, participants receive a BAM course certificate or a certificate from the respective accrediting body (e.g., NSC, DIAmond).
Can I retake a course or schedule a refresher?
Absolutely. We offer refresher programs across all key course categories — ideal for drivers looking to stay certified or sharpen their skills.
